I tried doing a search and it seems it's been a while since someone has asked about this. Has anyone successfully tries to side load the Tinder app?

I emailed Tinder today requesting to develop one for BlackBerry 10... or at least make an android port. Any news or info yet?

I tried it.

It appeared that the apk tool was unable to properly process the apk that I had -- (tinder_1_5_0 from Apk-Store.Com).

I was able to follow the instructions and even make the necessary modification to the file that's instructed at your link... but suffice it to say I could tell it wasn't going to work even before I finished.

Yes Tinder 1.5.6 works both on my Q10 and Z30. (Please note that when I changed the manifest I did it using the resources from GAPP 4.2.2, therefore this might not work on phones still on 10.1)

I don't even have Google Maps side loaded on my Z30STA100-5/10.2.0.1791, therefore Google Maps app itself is not required.

I am not sure if it would work via normal bar conversion since I always convert all my Android apps via the Xsacha method , but I ran it through the apk2bar site anyways for those that have an unlocked runtime or don't have a debug token http://apk2bar.org/bar/aa/f6/210138/...v1.0.117.0.bar

Ive tried to sideload both of these files through Google Chrome and I get the "error-9" on one and failure 500 'package-id' on the other. The app showed up on my phone but after I accept the app keeps closing out. Any ideas? I have the Q10

I apologize for the -9 error from the bar from the apk2bar site, this is something that I can't control since the site just recognizes that it's a very similar apk and just gives you one that was converted prior (so it won't be the modified apk file that get converted).

As for the 500 package-id error, you can't directly sideload the apk file as it needs to be converted to a bar file for your BlackBerry.

Doing a simple search, I was able to see that a working Tinder bar file was posted in this forum: http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-an...90/index3.html

Let the GPS do its thing, just be patient and it will bypass that screen once it locate u and matches based on ur location.



Google Maps is not required for this app to work.

It just means you've swiped through everyone in your area. Try expanding your search area in the settings or just going somewhere else haha then more people will show up.
