Sorry, I did not mention that. As the Store version did not change (5.1.11) this is not detected as updated. So you must remove the old version and install the new one, as you correctly did.
Thanks for the quick reply. I have a few questions if you don't mind just to try to understand if the behaviour is expected.

    I am on a z30 with 10.3.1.1949.

    1. In the google play website, In settings->My Devices - my device is listed as a Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
    2. Since the device listed was an Android device, I tried Android Device Manager but this still shows no active devices.
    3. I have no problem with my account but it is not listed in Setting->Accounts->Third Party Accounts (just read that it should be listed). The account is listed in the Blackberry Google ID app under Android Settings (along with an account that is listed in the Blackberry Third Party Accounts.
    4. In Google Play Services->Google Location Setting it shows "Not available in Switzerland" for Location Reporting and Location History.

    Thanks in advance.

Another benefit that I found with this app was to be able to clean up all of those apps in My Apps that have been unistalled and not required any longer.

The brave may give it a try: Google Play store with enabled in-app purchases.

Nothing has been changed in the billing module. The solution was to use correct bindings to the service. I successfully tested this with Bridge Builder (bought a few in Game coins). Not sure if it works with all apps. Post your results here and don't blame me for lost money ;-)

I'm using apps in spanish, but this worked flawlessly! You are the man! Donation on the way =)

    1. In the google play website, In settings->My Devices - my device is listed as a Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
-> That's correct. The store is being fed with the HW features of a Samsung Galaxy Nexus. This is just to trick the store.

    2. Since the device listed was an Android device, I tried Android Device Manager but this still shows no active devices.
-> The device is can not be controlled with Android device Manager, the required system files are missing on your device

    3. I have no problem with my account but it is not listed in Setting->Accounts->Third Party Accounts (just read that it should be listed). The account is listed in the Blackberry Google ID app under Android Settings (along with an account that is listed in the Blackberry Third Party Accounts.
-> It looks like the latest leaked OS doesn't show 3rd party accounts. I guess this is a bug in the leaked OS

    4. In Google Play Services->Google Location Setting it shows "Not available in Switzerland" for Location Reporting and Location History.
-> You are using Google Play services 5.0.89, right? In that version, the country code is hardcoded to my home country (Switzerland). It has no impact to functionality.

    Hope this helps.

Amazon no longer shows up though. And I am definitely still logged in. Doesn't matter, just an observation

I think the difference in 1949 is that you can't add third party accounts from the settings screen. You'd have to do it from a Google app. Once added, they should show in settings.

Thanks for clarifying, SlcCorrado. It's just a cosmetic problem. As long as the account shows up in Android Settings -> Accounts everything should be fine.

Yes, I read something about this in an other thread. I believe it's a bug and will be fixes in upcoming OS releases.

Hmm. If you could catch some logs I could look into it. But as far I know, Google sheets uses Google Drive to sync data. So if you want to use sheets, you should install cobalt.google.android.gsf-v3 on your device, as it contains the sync mechanism to sync data with the cloud.

    You'll find that file here:

Aside from one user who claims to have watched a video in another thread, nobody has gotten this to work. I feel as if it's a drm issue, since the trailers play fine in Google movies.

Honestly Cobalt I wanted to say thank you so much for your hard work in this. There have been 2 apps that I desperately needed to work on Blackberry.

With this they work perfectly. No details needed but it makes a huge difference in my life.

    Thank you kindly.

i'm logged into BlackBerry Google ID and the PlayStore but when I go to download previously purchased apps, I'm asked to pay for them again.

*this wasn't the case before when I had installed the play store last month, previously paid apps were able to download fine. i had to re-install the 3 apps because i had just flashed a newer OS. [Tried uninstalling updated files and used older files, tried logging out of synced gmail account, tried updated files again but none work]

    please advise, thanks!

    *update*
browsed previous pages and I found the remedy to the problem; go to BlackBerry Google ID app > Android Settings > remove Google account, then open play store and login in again and apps purchased previously will be able to redownload w/o repurchase
