It worked great until a couple of months ago - thanks!
Like many people, I had problems with all my Android apps at that point.
I have a Z30 with BBOS 10.3.2.2474
I downloaded the Android Runtime update from BBW and restarted, but several days later I still have problems with Android freezing and apps almost never starting up but just staying on a black screen.
I'm wanting to update the Google Play Store setup on my Z30 to use your newest files, hoping that will help, and to provide Google Play Services.
The original files I installed in August 2015 were:
- cobalt.blackberry.googleid-2.1.1.apk
- com.android.vending-5.6.8-cobalt-build1.apk
- com.google.android.gms.apk
- com.google.android.gsf.login-v4.3.2.apk
Any advice on the best procedure to update to the newest setup for Google Play Store?
I already have the new files downloaded onto my phone. Do I just execute them to upgrade in the order listed in Post 1, or do I need to remove any data or old apps or clear cache first, or even reset my phone (last resort)?
I'd prefer to keep the Android apps I've previously installed if possible.
I did attempt to look in this thread for instructions on upgrading, but didn't find any - my apologies if I missed them.
Thanks for any advice!
