My OS is 10.3.2 (latest available). And no, there was no other version of Google Account Manager installed. I noticed the latest version available is 7.1.2 though. Awaiting your kind advice.

You seem to be suffering from the Android runtime bug. You first have to install the BlackBerry runtime fix and then remove the existing (invisible) Google Account Manager.

Use only if you are on OS 10.3.2.2876 (2836).

Reboot immediately after installing the fix.

Then install Ghost Commander from BlackBerry World and delete any prior installation of the Cobalt apps. (But don't mess with anything else)

Hello Cobalt. I finally managed to get the Play Store running on my BB Passport... Hurray ... All I did was - reset my phone, install the Account Manager (4.3.3), install Play Store (6.0.0 Build 2) and then BB Google ID (2.8). Although I missed to install Google Play Services, everything is working fine so far. Should I be expecting any issues later, by not having the Play Services installed???

Thanks for the prompt response. I tried installing the latest version of Play Services available, but it failed. Do I have to go through the whole process again in order to have Google Play services? Or will an earlier version work?

From Google play store once you have followed the instruction of Cobalt and once you have downloaded WA you don't need to patch it.

Download from www.whatsapp.com/android.

Install and tap outside the box when warned about Google Play Services.

Then run the patch from BlackBerry World:

You will need to have an SD card to make it work.

Tap on "the app". What app?

Follow the instructions exactly:

Install and login with 4.3.3.

Install and register with 2.8.

Install Play Store v6 build2.

***Stop here if all you want is Play Store

Install Play Services v11.

Install 4.4.4 (but don't open after)

Install Play Games v5 (if desired).

Install whitelist 1.0.0.6.

***If an app requires Google Play Services, then:

Download app with Cobalt's Play Store (but don't install).
Whitelist unpatched app.
Patch app on PC with Play Services Patcher 1.6 using defaults settings.

Install patched app.

Thanks, works for some apps but others won't work without Google Play Services (Google Settings) which fails to install from the Playstore.
