Man, I'm having a hell of a time trying to install these! I've done this a number of times and never had a problem. Now for some reason, I can't don't it! I'm super frustrated.

When I go to Cobalts site and click the downloads from my phone, it takes me to a page with a ? And asks if I want to open in browser or in the Mega app? The Mega app then says Java Script, unknown device? I have read every thread and watched every youtube video I can and can't figure this out. Please help me get the Play Store on my Passport SE! Thanks guys.

Download the files from mega on your computer then. Either that or use the mega app.

OK. I figured it out. Not sure how I did it, but got all the right downloads and am currently setting everything up.

1. Whitelist appsales



2. Install unpatched and make a purchase





3. Delete unpatched and install patched application (from play store patcher), "click upgrade to premium", (applications are closed automatically). reopen application, now you have premium version



you can cancel subscription and try it for free (7 days)

I would update. But don't forget you have to patch again if required.

Do I need to have GMS-10.0.84 installed? I installed GMS-8.4.89 as in the first post but just noticed there was a later version. I did try installing v10 but my phone said "Unable to install this app"

Otherwise seems to be working fine except one app it "relies on Google Play services, which is not supported by your device."...which from my understanding means I need to patch the app...

I had sideloaded android apps on my z10 but things were getting messy with uninstalling and updating. Anyway i got as far as being able to access playstore & download apps. Might i add that i used the same account i have on another decice as ihave subscriptions. Dont know if theres any relevance. A couple of apps opened,then froze my screen then wouldnt open and some said i needed Google play services. i upgraded to the 4.4.4 account manager,didn't open it but still had the same problems. Ive wiped the phone completely and plan to try again. I followed the instructions to a tee but i think there was too much conflict if that makes sense. What i want to ask is are there any tips u can give me and also should i upgrade my software to 10.3 as soon as my phone boots up &!should i make the google account before I do anything else like bbid etc. Thanks my friends

Alright, noted. Thing is, my friend and I are attempting to run Cobalt's modded Play Store on a non-Blackberry device running on Kitkat that doesn't have support for Google Services. Rooting isn't an option as the device is still under warranty. I was able to get further when I used Cobalt's Play Store in conjunction with the latest microG build over at XDA, but while I'm able to download apps the store simply stops at downloading and does nothing afterwards.
