I forgot to tell you, if I only install 4.4.4 and then log in, no error msg appear, but do not allow me to check in with 2.8 even if I reboot the BB. So I think 4.3.3 should be fixed to this new OS release and maybe we need GID 2.9

I have no problem with the existing software on any of my BB10 devices. Same procedure. Same results.

did you do a clean install? I've done the same procedure as well, clean install several times with this update and always the same error, I've seen some people is having the same problem

how do i unregister my device on Blackberry Google ID 2.8?
(i'm trying to follow the steps to solve the issue: Play Store is displaying "Error while retrieving information from server [DF-XXYYZZ]"
To fix this problem, go through all of the following steps:

1) Close Play Store
2) Go to Blackberry Settings -> App Manager -> Device Monitor -> Storage -> Play Store and hit "Clear Data"
3) Run Blackberry Google ID and unregister the the device
4) In Blackberry Google ID tap on your email address -> select your account -> remove the account in top right menu.
5) Back on main screen of Blackberry Google ID hit checkin and follow the instructions"

I reloaded my BlackBerry Passport and I after restoring my backup I need to reinstall the Google play store and services apk. The current links I've found online (Cobalt's files) aren't showing available. Does anyone have a working version?

Also the files on the Mega site won't open.

The mega link has the latest files. Try your computer browser.

After updating to 10.3.3 I seem to have lost the play store, all other apps are still there, but no Google Play. I may have deleted it trying to free up memory, but now trying to find it I can not open the mega Site. I tried both the OS browser and Evolution under chrome and it, but just spinning on requesting files. Does it normally take a long time?

Dear CB members, I've passed first two steps successfully, but I receive an error when I try to register my device with Google Play via "cobalt.blackberry.googleID". The error message is [ACCOUNT MANAGER REFUSED TOKEN REQUEST]. Aslo there is no info in "Registration date" and "Android GSF ID" strings.

My OS is 10.3.2.2836
At this moment I have installed the following:
com.google.android.gms-9.8.77-cobalt-build1.apk
com.google.android.gsf.login-4.4.4-cobalt.apk
cobalt.blackberry.googleid-2.8.apk

Any ideas?

Download apps from Google Play Store exclusively, and none that are named FreeMoviesNow.

You don't sideload Android apps.

You just click on Android apk files to install them.
