The apps are still working, and new versions can't be patched in a way that they would work flawlessly on Runtime 4.3. That's why I'll just provide hot fixes if needed (ie. the Pok�mon fix). It's sad, but OS 10 has come to its end. If BlackBerry would decide to update the runtime to at least Lollipop, I would continue to spend my time on it. But that won't happen in my opinion.

So enjoy what we have as long as it's working. And thank Conite for his outstanding support!

Actually that number is 25%.

Roughly 1/3 is using KitKat, 1/3 is using lollipop, and 8% on marshmallow.

I only updated to .2836 to get rid of the annoying and constant "there is an update" notification. I just think battery life is better on 2813. That's all. No biggie if I have to wipe to do it. I've started over clean a few times, I just don't feel like doing it now.

Put on run time .110 from 10.3.2.556 and it's perfect on battery life and runs the apps better!

Thurask pulled them for me and they are around if you need the link! Best thing I ever did to my passport se besides purchase it.

PS: no annoying pop up with this I suppose cause was for classic but does not effect the passport in anyway functionality wise except in great ways!

I tried to read the first post for instructions but may i ask for simpler instructions as how do i install those apks on to blackberry Q10. do i use a sideloading tool or some other option and how. Please i would appreciate the help. I am sorry if the solution was posted elsewhere. Consider me a noob and dont get offended. Thank you. Whatsapp apk from Google Play Store is latest apk that can't always work properly with BlackBerry because android runtime is not updated. Best option for whatsapp is to download previous versions apk that you can search via Google. Anybody else have other solutions?

It is an original solution but for everyday use do not see it as valid alternating between app and a browser. Basically let's see what happens when D day arrives. Will it still work? Will it work but limited use? Will it work but won't receive updates or Will it shut down automatically as we are celebrating New Years Eve which is the biggest use of whatspp service!? Time will tell.
I had loaded an older apk to my trusty Z10 And it worked. But for true backup have my PRIV ready to go in to action if necessary on New Years day 2017 if need be. I use BBM but there are still contacts that depend heavily on whatsapp service. So for now wait and hold! Good luck
