I'm with you. I was going to download the suite of files from kindly Mr. Cobalt. He's amazing. And then send a donation. Then I realised. I'm good.

I have a BlackBerry Classic. It's an amazing multimode communications device. Well. It's a telephone. I use it to talk with people. But I can also communicate with them in several other ways involving written words. This device is sans pareil when it comes to that department. Swear I could write a whole book on this thing. . Oh and it does other things beyond just being a fantastic communication device. Productivity stuff. And stuff. And other stuff.

Lack of apps rarely bothers me. So no real emergency to have access to Lord Google's realms.

Would have to revisit this decision though, if there was a Google app for getting my Classic to bring me coffee in the morning. Meantime have figured out a suitable workaround.

"This link is no longer active. Sharing cancelled or file deleted"?? If that's what you mean, had the same problem. Not sure why but it doesn't work on some browsers. Tried it on my iphone just to check. It is there. Not sure why it's being a hassle but ya try a different browser I guess.

I am able to download the colbalts files however when I go to open them my classic tells me it is unable to open the file. Am I downloading the incorrect files? I'd like some help. Also I am not in Desktop mode.

As stated, add the apk extensions yourself.

I sideloaded the 4 cobalt files.(Cobalt's official Google Apps landing page) Three of them appeared to install correctly.
Add a Google Account
-add an existing account
-entered the same email and password that works on the PC... problem communicating with the servers
-seems to work with browser sign in only ?

Blackberry Google ID however came up with four items listed
Device: Blackberry Classic
System Account: Email that works on PC
Registered On: Not Available
Android GSF ID: Not Available

.... Check-in Failed, Refuses to register the device. What did I miss?- got an email acknowledging a new sign-in from an Android device!! Something happened..

i think bug on crackberry10 application. i try crackberry android and try open link in page one and not found " at end of link.

This is where it said to come, so I can not buy any apps on cobalts awesome google play-store via my passport se - out of the blue today this all occurred! I tried it with the same CC info and it worked on my droid tablet but yet it keeps saying error on the passport even though I typed in the proper PW, any help on what to do or what could be causing this? Thanks, Steve

BTW: There is not specific error, just a red error, try again. which I do to fail again on paid apps. I can install free apps just fine.

PS: MY DEVICE REGISTERS FINE WITH COBALTS STUFF, DID IT AGAIN, TWICE ACTUALLY.

update: I have two gmail names attached, my gmail I never use much is working to buy apps under the only credit card; as in the same one that won't work under my main name (only one attached or ever attached) now or was all along but just checked, why is my main gmail name not working anymore and returning a error for paid apps? Any fix?

Seriously, when the hell did this happen? I had no issue for the longest. So delete 4.3 and put on 4.4.4 along with his patched play services, yuck? If so, in what order?... Please give me that...

Also do I delete blackberry login or anything also or leave that alone, re-update it at end?

Going to do it on his cloud, last issue, I do not know what the name of 'of his patched play services? I see the 4.4.4.
