    Dear Cobalt & all,

Sorry if it is a duplicate question. After successful Install Google Play Store and Google Play Service, can i download and use Facebook & Facebook Messenger via this Google Play? Or do i have to patched it after download?

Why use facebook android? I am don't like facebook android because must install facebook messenger to chat. Facebook for BlackBerry is all in one. Install facebook android + facebook messenger is waste my memory. Also facebook BlackBerry is better for BlackBerry Hub.

The last working version of Facebook is v28.0.0.20.16, and of Messenger is v25.0.0.17.14. Google Play Services is not required.

Blackberry Google ID 2.3 is now available:

    Changelog:
    * New translations: Hungarian by kisakos and Croatian by maxym. Thanks buddy's for supplying the language resources
    * New: You can now click the account icon to jump to the Google account sync settings
    * New: New alert icons if you are not checked in and if there is no system account on the device
    * Fixed: Optimized code (especially in the realtime language swapping part)

    Update instructions:
Remove old version, install new version. Updating the installed version with the update feature of the Android runtime is not recommended.

    CAUTION:
It looks like Google has added a new feature to the Account settings on https://myaccount.google.com/security#signin. It is called "Allow less secure apps" and it is turned OFF by default. This may cause a checkin failure in Blackberry Google ID. If you're having issues with checkin in, you should turn that feature ON. I've added this info to the FAQ in post 1.

    Enjoy!

First I want to thank cobalt for all his work, it has made my blackberry experience much more enjoyable. After reading every page of this topic (yes even page 1) I will preface my question with

    Verizon Q10 with latest update.
I have read, understood, and followed the page 1 instructions and attempted the exact full procedure several times. Read All other threads (cobalts landing page for apps, patching thread etc)

Everything works as it should, Google account login, BlackBerry Google ID checkin, installed cobalts play store, whitelist, play games, settings etc. I am able to sync my clash of clans account (after I used gmaps patcher on latest coc apk) so I know play services is working.

I do not have two step verification on my Google account I have successfully logged in to my Google account on all apps.

I hate to ask for help and I really wanted to figure this out myself but I'm about to self destruct from frustration lol.

So on to question....when attempting to download a "paid for" app from cobalts patched play store OR when trying to purchase stuff within a patched app (that works fine otherwise) OR when trying to change settings to not require PW for purchases within account setting I always get prompted to enter PW (not alarming). However when I enter it to confirm payment it just gives me a generic "an error has occured. Please try again". Same message whether within apps or within play store. It is frustrating because play services and play store have accepted my login and pw for everything else and the play store is synced etc. It is strictly a payment login verification issue. I've tried a good CC, paypal and Google wallet all same result. Should I just be happy that I got it working to this extent or am I missing something. Accept my apologies if this some simple oversight on my part and feel free to call me bad names lol. My brain is numb reading so much trying to figure it out myself.

    Randy

Edit #1 : I had not seen the latest play services update not sure if it will fix this (trying it now thx cobalt) and I had already turned the "allow less secure apps" Google setting on previous to post.

Edit #2 : The much appreciated update to Google play services did not change the problems I explained above. I didn't expect it to but just wanted to add that I do indeed have the most recent updates for everything.

Thank you, Cobalt!! This is the best system to use Android apps! I had been using Snap, but a lot of apps weren't working and for some reason Lucky Patcher wasn't finding anything to patch. So I downloaded the three apk's you suggested and Wow! What a difference! I couldn't get the Spurs Go app to work but now it does. You da Man!! Donation is coming your way.

Thank you for continuing to support this, and I sincerely hope you do so as long as there is an Android runtime in BB10. You have made my BB10 experience so much more amazing than it already was.

It turns on some debugging stuff in Play Store and some other Google apps. You find a new debug menu in those apps if you turn it on.
