I didn't need to use an "App specific Password". Downloaded the ID and Manager. Try un installing and then register you device first maby... then install google services. What type of device you using? Hope that helps...

I notice that Cobalt is updating to newer versions ... "Download Google Play Services 7.5.74 build 2 [Released on July 4, 2015]
http://bit.ly/1NFF5tF" for instance. Should I update to newer versions or just keep the version I have. And if I do, should I un-install older version first, or newer one will overwright?

If you are using 7.5.71 you can stay on that version. If you are using 7.5.74 build 1 you should update (I fixed a bug that slipped into build 1).

I successfully downloaded, installed and launched this one on my Z10 so I guess this is actually a problem on your end.

Probably best to start from scratch: uninstall all current Cobalt apps, redownload all needed Cobalt apk's again (ensure you have the latest versions!) and then follow Cobalt's instructions to install those again.
Make sure there is enough free space to download this file (it says in Play Store it is more than 1GB though apk is just 11MB)

I know what you saying when I was install play store few month ago I can download easily any games after this latest version of play store maybe the problem. Old play store was good. I download many games I download many large games. Like the walking dead season 2 dead trigger 2 in justice. But don't know what happen now

Yes I did this all I remove all three apps. And install properly. But don't know why this is happening. And I have 7 gb free in my mobile.

Remember, that the files are downloaded to internal SD, not external SD. And that the app uses double space when installing. So you need at least 2.2 GB of internal space to install. I believe it's a problem of available free space.

One thing I've noticed is although the apps already installed by Snap show as "installed "when you search for them in the Google store, until you update them they do not show in "installed " apps section under "my apps" in Google play. This also means they do not sure available updates until updated .

Anyone got Simpson to work? Managed to get it working after the mini install but then when it goes to full 500mb+ download the Internet connection just keeps crashing...So can't actually play the game

Clearing the data doesn't help. Also tried uninstalling and reinstalling Play Store to no avail.

Please note the error code isn't the same as the one mentioned in the FAQ.

Hi Cobalt:

I have been using 5.1.11 since December. I am on a Passport with 10.3.1 . I originally installed with Mega.
I was thinking I should update the Google Play Store. But when I click on the download link on page one or on your landing page my file manager opens and then nothing happens! The screen is just blank with 3 options: back forward or reload. I can't remember if it is supposed to go to Mega or to file Manager. It was so easy before. Thanks! I'm sure there is just some silly thing I'm forgetting?

Login from BlackBerry settings, not from the Login app itself. Or just run Playstore after you installed everything. It will ask you to login.

I did the latter but after logged in, playstore only shows check your connection and try again. I'm on wifi since my data has already been blocked by ISP (quota limit).
