is this app compatible with prepaid sim billing????....
Carrier billing is not supported. But you can use pre-paid gift cards, PayPal or Credit Card.

Patch it with Gmaps Patcher, not Lucky Patcher. Make sure White List is installed. G+ works fine for me. I don't play games so I don't know if your games will work.

It's unfortunate, in my country people here rarely use paypal or credit card.

I understand that it would be nice if this would work and I maybe could even fix it. But I won't tamper with the billing part. From my understanding of the code, tampering with billing will pull Google attention on this project and we don't want that. Also, with the current solution, you can be 100% sure that your money is secure. Let's leave it the way it is.

NOTE: I too ran into a few initial problems, try during setup to turn off cellular and connect WiFi only. Also if you have double verify activate in Google, turn that off until all apps installed... then turn back on.

@Cobalt: thank you so very much for all your work!!

OK, signed on to a Passport last evening that my wife decided after trying it for 3 months the size and shape was too awkward for her. So far I'm liking it and it's features. I loaded Google Play on it. Loading went all OK with no problems. Loaded some of my old apps from when I used android. Some are working fine but a couple of them say they require Google Play Services. That app from the playstore will not install. Can someone just tell me is that a known problem? Thanks

OK read further into the first postings by cobalt and what is about GP Services. I'll read further through his provided links to thread talks about it. See if I can figure things out.

It's not as scary as it looks. Install and run google account (gsf login), then install and run the Blackberry Google ID, and then just install the latest services (no need to open), and enjoy.

My post also applies here, just remember that apps that may nag for services will require patching as an additional step, but then the patched app should play nice.

Can you pls be more specific? Don't I need to use some sort of patcher?

I have the Google acct and am signed in and I have the Google Blackberry ID and my device is registered.

Not sure how you install and run the latest services?

OK I loaded the GP Services 7.5.74 build 2. Now with that the Services app did load onto the passport unlike where the app from the playstore would not install. I opened up one of the apps and things seem to work but I still get this message..."Google Play Services, which some of your applications rely on is not supported by your device. Please contact the manufacturer for assistance." So I guess that means there may be some function(s) within the app that will not work properly? Is that where the "patching" needed for the app comes in?
