Can I get snap for my blackberry classic? If so, which IP address do I use when downloading it?

There is no reason you couldn't download Snap if you wanted it, look at the Snap thread in the forums for more info.

Would be great if you could build an applications that checks your play store for updates and let's us know. So we don't have to keep visiting the first page.

Would also mean lots of people would be running the latest version sort of like a download manager but with update checking :

    Keep up the good work

More recent builds of Netflix allow casting to something like a PlayStation 3. No luck with a Chromecast for me though.

I got Netflix casting to Chromcast by using GMaps Patcher (not Lucky Patcher) and Cobalt's Whitelist.

You're BBID and Google Play email account are don't depend on each other. They can be the same (mine are) but they don't need to be the same for this to work. You won't have a problem if they're different, just use your Google sign in for Google Play and you're fine.

Yes, the three files were installed.
The icons are Google Account, Blackberry Google ID and Play Store.
    All were filled out.
The when I look at the Google ID app all areas are complete and the phone is registered yet Play Store just gives me a black screen.
    Any other ideas?

    Thanks for the help Cobalt232!
Okay I finally got it to work.
I had to uninstall Google Maps then reinstall the three files and it worked.

Now to get Google Play Services to work???

Maybe people need to see this. The most important and first question in the FAQ:

Does this work on any device?
Play Store works with all Blackberry devices running OS 10.3 and better. OS 10.2.x is not supported.

Huh, wanted to press reply, not thanks ;-)

It's because Play Store has its own notification service that is not based on GCM (Google Cloud Messaging).
    Hello,

Thanks for all your work, it's awesome! I do have a problem with an android application (EVEPing) which I believe requires GCM to work properly, and I only found C2DM in my android settings.

The quoted post is the latest mention you've made of GCM, has anything happened since that would allow us to have access to that service?

Cobalt, $10 to you on paypal.

Living in Ireland temporarily from the states. Have my Passport and wife's S4 on ATT international texting plan with minimal data.

Put a local sim in my old Z10 for general service. Now that it is setup with facebook in the hub and has Google play and maps, my wife uses it as her primary carry. Thanks helping me with winning a convert.

I hope BlackBerry pays you a pile of money to make this into a standard app on their devices.

I noticed a strange thing in Google Play Store, in some categories other language appears I don't know how it's possible probably it's Italian, in main page in store every thing is fine but under categories some other languages appears, it happens by itself 2 days ago I think, I didn't mess with any new installation, I have every Cobalt file up to date and works as a charm but I wonder why that language appears, I tried to clear cache of Play Store also reinstall but it seems it takes information from Internet not from phone. It's only me or it it's like that to everyone what you think Cobalt?

Patching does remove the signature check so that the app accepts the modified version of Google Play Services. It does not remove the need to have Google Play Services.

    Quick question

My Google Play Store works perfectly except for that damn message that pops up about the app needing Google Play Services.

I don't want to mess anything up but if I downloaded Google Maps will it work?

    Thanks

Play Store itself doesn't require Play Services. It must be an other app that is asking for it. Install the patched Google Play Services and patch the app that requires it (don't patch Play Store!)
