Hi ppl! I have read the first post a lot of times and tried uninstalling and installing again all 3 apks, but I'm still having an error when downloading any app the first time in play store. I have a z10 using 10.3.1 . The error is like "Google stopped working ". After the first time that the error appears, play store doesn't open anymore and just gives me that error every time. Any guess?

Different methods for different tools. Google Play is an APK file that can just be downloaded to your device, then opened up and installed. No sideloading required. The correct method to install successfully is in the first post, like the title of this thread says.

I am new to this forum and I hope this is the correct place to post this question. I apologize if this needs to go somewhere else.
I own a Blackberry Passport I have installed Google Play Store following Cobalt 232 instructions. When I open the app, choose a product and then click "Install", then "Accept", I receive the following error message in my Blackberry Hub notifications:
sample Error Messages; Error retrieving information from server. [RPC:S-7:AEC-0 QVZK-TYIG-4OQZQ] another message
    [RPC:S-7:AEC-0 XYUQ-TWHA-V22TC]
What can I do to correct this? I have altready uninstalled anything Google on the device and reinstalled it. I have cleared caches, and data and even searched various You Tube instructions for answers. What am I doing incorrectly?

Google id app has a service that still may be running. Uninstall Blackberry Google ID, reboot and then install new version.

Hi Cobalt, thanks for this post and all the support. I'm trying to install the Google Account manager and once I give it all the permissions, it simple stops and says "unable to install this app"

I've uninstalled all the google play/store apps, and tried both the newest release (4.3.2) and (4.3) with no luck. As this is the first step to the whole process, I'm totally stuck. I'm on a Z30, with the latest OS. I'm using USB to drag and drop the APK's from a PC with Blend installed.

    Any help would be great.

Same message, on my z30 with .798. Just loaded 840 and am going to try. Next stop is a wipe-autoload of the same. Which os you on? Latest official or which leak?

Works fine on my side. I haven't deleted or reinstalled Google Playstore since 10.3.2.500. All OS were done non-destructively.

Hey Cobalt, need some help here.
Tried out your three step process.
    Google Account installed fine.
Blackberry Google ID installed fine and registered.
But the Play Store is the problem.
It installed fine but when I start it up I just get a black screen.
At the very bottom left corner there is an arrow but that's as far as I get.

    This is on a Z10 STL100-3 with 10.3.1.1779

    Thanks!
