hi cobalt play store 5.6.8 doesnt works for me its doesnt download anything

Just in case nobody noticed: the new debug switch in BGID turns on some debug menus in Play Store, Play Music and other Google apps.

How to use (i.e. With Play Store):
* Close Play Store
* Run BGID and flip debug switch
* wait a second
* Run Play Store

There will be a new debug menu option in Play Store settings.

Okay, I've searched through this thread but haven't found the answer.

I have Play Store up and running, and Google Maps works (v. 9.9.0) but doesn't allow me to login to see my saved places. Prior to installing Play Store, Maps did allow this.

I assume this is an either-or situation. If I want Maps to work fully, what do I need to uninstall? Or am I misunderstanding something?

Edit: I think I've answered my own question. I need to uninstall BB Google ID and sacrifice Google Play Store if I want starred places in Maps. True?

You need to install Google Play Services, if you want starred places. The Store has no impact.

I have done that, but it's not yet working. I'll take it to the "Landing page" thread, however, since it doesn't belong here.

Edit: Don't you mean uninstall? That's what you said in the other thread, and now that I've done it, I have starred places.

Un-Install .

But if you use Google maps V. 7 or lower, u can have both GPServices and Login.

Sorry, yes uninstall. My bad. Or just Maps 7, that one works together with Google Play Services because it uses a different login method.

Yup, thanks, it's all good. I have Maps and Play running, and I don't care much about Google Play Services at the moment. If that changes, I know what to do.

I can't download the play store file from first post. I'm updating my Google Play by the way. Deleted all 3 files, was able to download the first two files but the play store file won't download.

Any tips or suggestions?

EDIT: I opened the post on my external browser and was able to download it. For some reason it wouldn't download from Crackberry App
