It's because the package name has changed from cobalt.blackberry.androidid to cobalt.blackberry.googleid. Just remove old BGID and then install the new one.

The new version contains the fixes for the new Google Play SERVICES that you can find in my other thread.

Can you put the info from the other thread in this one (the download links?)

I patched both of them. No good. Snapfish is still stalled and Uber just crashes. Thanks for the suggestion.

Agreed that Maps works great, only down side is that I keep getting prompted to Download Google Play Services... and every time I try to download it, it fails to install at the very last step.

Go to Android settings from BGID, go to apps, then find map's and disable notifications.

Also in play store settings I deselect auto updates even on wifi, but that's just me.

Just the usual Google version bump with some bugfixes. The download link in the first post has been updated. You can simply download the new version and then update the existing version with the new one.

Just checked it.. I'm not subscribed, but I get notified of threads I participate in regardless of that. If I could not be notified of certain threads that I've participated in.. would be nice to have the option to 'opt out' of being notified any longer.. could still check it but could atleast have the option..
