I have a basic question for anyone who can answer me. I've had the Google play store installed on my BlackBerry Passport (10.3) for the past 6 weeks or so, and it's most definitely a bonus. My question is: Should I or shouldn't I install available updates for the play store and its associated apps I have installed. I'm currently on build 5.3.6 if that's important. I don't want to screw anything up, and because it's not a BlackBerry supported feature, my fear is that I'll make a mess for myself that I won't be able to repair. I'd appreciate any input. Thanks!

You can and should update your Play Store with the latest version in the first post of this thread (5.4.12). Just download it from there. The latest version has some fixes and it won't try to selfupdate any more.

There is absolutely no risk that it messes up something on your device, as it doesn't run in the system context. The Store has no permissions to change anything on your core OS.

Sometimes when you hit 'update' the download will finish, but it's possible that the installer command wasn't triggered to open. If you tap on the 'update' button a second time it should run the installer just like tapping on the apk file from your file explorer.

Click on the update in hub should install frm there wouldn't hve to re-download

Great work! Donation link has an issue though. Maybe it's just me but. The error message reads something about an incorrect/invalid email address.

If you have problems with Google Play SERVICES, you should post in the correct thread. This one is dedicated to Google Play STORE, which works great on Blackberry devices. It's not a problem of the Store if a downloaded app doesn't work. Thanks.

It is an error, it can be fixed when I root my phone but I could not . There's another way is to install the Google Play store 6.4.16 or less . But I have found and seen your lowest version is 4.8, cobalt sir. So if you can help me create the 4.6.16 that work on blackberry ??? Would you please help me , thank you in advance cobalt
