Hi Cobalt, just to know... Any work in progress concerning the fully compatibility of Google play services ?

Full compatibility will mean Google and BlackBerry finding common ground and getting along. While I have total faith in his ability, I don't think even Cobalt can work a miracle that doesn't involve that.

I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU for this, works really well, installation was flawless, even for someone who can be technologically dense like me.. I just got a Z30 a few days ago, and tbh, I was displeased(it was bought for me), mostly because I know the Blackberrys lack apps and it was going to be such a hassle finding good apps, but this has helped immensely solving that.

I have two questions though:

• Will there ever be a way to get around the Google+ thing? I can't use apps like Snapchat(which is a staple of mine) or play games like Quizup Is there a way to make them work?
  Also is there a difference between your method and using Snap? Both do the same thing right? I was wondering if I should still bother installing snap, is there anything yours can't do that snap can't or vice versa?

According to Android Police there are just some minor changes in the GUI:
Play Store 5.4 Makes The Notification Bar Transparent On App Pages [APK Download]

On Blackberry devices, the notification bar is already transparent (or rather invisible) with the current Play Store version 5.3.6

I'm now back from my Easter Holidays and will start patching the new version tomorrow. A release of PS 5.4.10 should be available at 12:00 CET +1.

Also is there a difference between your method and using Snap? Both do the same thing right? I was wondering if I should still bother installing snap, is there anything yours can't do that snap can't or vice versa?

Both snap and play store effectively do the same thing, except play store is, well, the real thing. And with that, comes some added benefits over snap.

1. This allows for in-app purchases
2. This allows you to purchase apps from your device and pass authentication as well.
3. This allows you to download and store paid apks (so they can be patched)
4. This allows you to download an apk without necessarily installing it (so you can patch it first)

Snap has its benefits as well, the most notable being that it's native and silky smooth. Also, it's a bit more relaxed on the signature checks, so it notifies you of an update to an app you may have patched. Play store won't do this, since the signatures don't match.

As for google+ support, don't hold your breath.

The easy way is this: you can't. Patching doesn't help, neither does installing any other patched services. Snapchat is now one of the apps that we currently can't fix. Hopefully that changes someday but right now we're out of luck.
