Redownload the latest files from the first post. You've been using an old version that did not have the selfupdate patch. Visit this thread once a month to check for new versions.

That's weird, because I heard someone else say that they had Chromecast working fine.

chromecast app only finds Chromecast dongle on Network. we need to install apps like photocast for local pics viewing or Plex app for pics and videos (need plex server installed on PC)
I used both above apps patched with Gmaps. And leave chromecast app in active frame. It works with me.
I was using cobalt patched youtube app, which does not require chromecast app to be installed.

Go to Blackberry settings -> Device Monitor -> Memory -> Play Store -> clear app data.

How come android apps not support blackberry's wifi?

Skygo and simpsons tapped out. Both work. However on sky go it won't play anything as it says you need to be connected to the internet?
Tapped out, every min get a error saying can't connect to server and the download stops. Have to repeat it.

Am i doing something wrong here?

Either you uninstalled one of the 3 apps or you are using OS 10.2 which is not supported. Did you read the first post?

Getting confused. You used the YouTube app to cast to the TV via Chromecast dongle but without the app?

Depending on the implementation the dev chose, you may not necessarily need the chromecast app. A good example of this is Netflix. However there are tons of other apps that rely on that chromecast app to be functioning in order for chromecast to work.

Already checked, and I tried with 4.3.1 and 4.3.2 ! I'm on 10.3.1. Every thing are okay but I don't know why it stops before the end of instalation and tells me : not able to install this app

I sometimes encounter this error message, even when I try to updade an already installed app. A reboot usually helps.

Did you try to install it with Blackberry Guardian turned off?
