First I would like to thank you Cobalt for all your work here, it's greatly appreciated.

Now I have been running your google store four a while, everything is working fine. Yesterday I tried to update the GID and got a message "Unable. To install this app". I tried first as an update, when this didn't work I uninstalled all 3 apps reset my phone and started from scratch. I'm still getting the same message.

Hi, I have a Blackberry Classic. I recently installed Google Play Store 5.2.13 (build 1),Google Login 4.3.1 and Blackberry Google ID 2.0 . Right after, i cannot access the microphone of the phone. I can't make voice note or records call as before. Thanks for your help.

There is no connection between the 3 apps and your effect. Voice recording is provided by BlackBerry OS. If unsure, you can remove the 3 files and reboot.

I tried that uninstalled all 3 apps rebooted and started from fresh the installation of the 3 apk's. I'm still getting the same results.
I just want to state that ver 1.3 that I still had stored away somewhere is working fine. My only issue is when I try to install version 2.0

By the way what are the changes on ver. 2 from Ver. 1.3?

Thanks for the updates, Cobalt. Today I made the error to let the Google Play Store update itself on a Classic - and then it stopped working. But I just download all the three updated files and now the Play Store is working fine. The Skype and Kindle apps always show me a new update inside the Play Store. Is it OK to update these although there were originally installed via Blackberry World and the amazon App Store?

The uninstallation process can be triggered in different ways, but at the end it's always package manager doing the uninstallation. So it doesn't really matter.

For me it only ever worked with the Device Monitor, not the Android App screen.
The latter only removes the icon for me.
But that was on 10.2, never tried in 10.3 yet

I have leaked 10.3.1.1581. I downloaded Google maps from Aptoide. After that I installed Google Play Store and I started getting message the maps need to install Google Play services which is imposible. Message coming over and over again, only for this Android application. Little annoying.... Is there any solution to stop this messages? Thanks!

Solution is simple. Run Blackberry Google ID. Then go to top right menu, choose Android Settings. Then go to apps -> Google Maps and turn off notifications.

Cobalt, I got another Hub notification for an update, and it had all just garbled letters, symbols and digits. So you couldn't even tell what it was for.
I think it had been mentioned before.
I mean it is just a cosmetic nuisance, but have you seen that on your device yet as well?

Has anyone figured out how to get any android apps downloaded from Google play which use the camera to use it correctly, without distortion? I am finding that when I attempt to photograph a document or check using an android app it will only show a small window fully zoomed in. So to take a picture off a check I must be at least a yard away to get the whole cheque in the screen resulting in a very blurry shot.

Have not used any of those apps. But I have the Walmart app and the scanner now works in 10.3.1. Did not in 10.2.

Yes I'm using Discover and TD Bank app (I reinstalled the older version of TD Bank since the newest one was giving me problems). I also have another couple of banks but don't use it for depositing checks so can't tell you if it works.

From the 2 I mentioned Discover is the easiest to use and works pretty good the TD Bank even the older version always gives me a hard time. I need to play around with it with moving away, at a slant etc. To get it to take a decent picture.

Thanks for your response. I am using RBC US Deposit and can't get it to work at all due to the zoom effect on the camera.

Hey Cobalt, I am running GPS ver. 5.1.11 and since you told me to turn off the updates for apps it hasn't bothered me but it has started again this time to update the actual GPS app. If I update will it cause problems, cause I'm perfectly happy with it otherwise? If I can just keep it as is and stop the app from popping up again from notifying me that would be cool also.
