It looks like you removed one of the 3 apps that all must be installed on your device. Most likely Google Account Manager is not installed.

I installed the new software yesterday but now get this on my Z30STA100-5/10.2.1.3442




Is this a 10.2.1 issue and will it work after I take the update that my carrier is pushing out today?

Also love that type to search works on physical keyboard. Just type and it will bring up the search within the app.. no need to look for a search icon

No problem with the updating process just weird text as shown in picture. Never have had this before if I recall correctly.

Not a complaint just wanted to report.

Playing a game I downloaded from Google Play thanks to your work Cobalt but now have this issue. Some games require Google Play Services to save game progress. Tried installing it but it won't install on my device.

Any suggestions or work around?

For me, they all look like that since the last play store update

I don't prefer 'update notifications', so rather turn them off and only check when you're in the store itself, also turn off 'run when minimised' in settings.. personal preference!

Hi Cobalt. This is great. Followed your instructions and now I have Google Play Store. Only problem is whenever I try to download an app, Google Play Store "stops working" and crashes. Any solutions?

In Play Store when going to the Movies section and wanting to watch previews, they work great, except a few that require login. Which login is it asking for?

Blackberry Google ID v2.0 is now available. The first post has been updated with the link and new instructions how to install. If you already have your Store up and running, the update of Blackberry Google ID is optional.

There will be an upcoming release of Google Play store that suppresses selfupdates of Play Store. Until it is available, you should not let Play Store do a selfupdate or things will go bad.
