Cobalt,
I have Z10 with 10.3.1.(I think 2072) The last leak before the latest one. Anyway. I am trying to set it up for my daughter, that I am migrating from an iPhone 5C(that died) Forced conversion to BB as my son stated. Anyway. I went through the process in your other thread on installing Google Login, and Google Services. I failed miserably. I never saw the option to create and account under BB Settings-> Accounts for a Google Account. I did discover that she had set her login up as a Google PLUS account, so I created a separate one (non Google+). That seemed to get me a little farther but still no login option for bb. Google Services would come up and recognize the new account, but login would not work, but I was able to login from web option. I tried patching the two apps my daughter is hoping to use, "The Blockheads" Game and Snap Chat. I have Snap installed as well ands set it up with the new Google Account and it works fine, just neither of the two apps works. I tried the Aptoide site and BB10Store to download things as well. I feel like an ***** trying to get these things going with no luck what so ever. Is there a particular order in which I should install everything? I know nothing about Snapchat or the Blockheads games. I did not get the chance to try the install process from this thread. Thank you in advance.

What you should know is that a Blackberry device knows two types of Google accounts. One type is the one that you can create in Blackberry settings. It allows to add an email account that then syncs the mails from Google Mail. But this is not the type of account we want.

The second type is a Google system account. This type can only be created on a device if you install the Google Login app. Unfortunately, Blackberry removed the ability to create Google system accounts directly from settings in newer 10.3.1 releases.

The workaround:

1. Install Google Login app
2. Run an app that requires a Google System account (as i.e. Google Play store). This will invoke the dialog that allows to enter your credentials.

The easiest way is just to follow all steps in the first post to set up Google Play Store. Your Google System account will then automatically be created.

@Cobalt - you were right. The latest Play Store version runs very, very quick on BlackBerry 10, at least on PassportSQW100-1/10.3.1.2267.

Maybe they tweaked something. I have the feeling that the preloading of images is now better handled. Well, nice to see that it's working well on most devices.

Dear friend I have problem. I download everything as u said I done as u said. I click on play store it was work fine but when I go to download game. The error came unfortunately Google play store has stopped. Now this error came every time I open the play store.

You are on OS 10.2. Either download Play Store 5.1.11 build 4 or update your device to OS 10.3.

I don't get 5.1.11 build 4. I download 5.1.11 build 1. I click on v4 but not respond can u send me the link of these three file. I mean to google play store or google login. I mean to say 3 apps link. Thanku

I'm guessing you might need to patch this app to try and have a better shot at it working. Follow the links to Cobalt's Gmaps Patcher in his signature.

Play Store is just a method to download the apps, but it doesn't guarantee that they will work right from the start. Imagine android apps are a door, standing between you and where you want to go with your device. Sometimes, the door is unlocked and you can walk right in. Sometimes, the door is only a little stuck and you need to play a little bit with it to open (Gmaps Patcher, Lucky Patcher). Sometimes not even patching will work (looking at you, Clash of Clans). Those times the door is locked and there isn't much we can do since nobody here has the keys to unlock that.

So what is the main differences between this and Snap? I have been using snap, but loaded this one up last night.

Now I noticed my time doesn't count unless u shut the screen off and on

Well I notice snap v3 is looking very similar to Google play native, but I dunno about the background stuff I can't see. Lol, noticed my apps don't show there's updates (that I got from Snap or amazon) unless I delete them and reinstall with GooglePlay

And with the time I mean my clock, when I go back to home screen it shows the time I turned the screen on and won't refresh.. it still counts when I go into the clock app itself to set an alarm, but the clock on home screen just freezes until I shut the screen off and on again. I almost would have left for work late if I didn't notice the real time on my wall

(also I'm still on 10.2.1.x so I am running the build 4 or whatever last version was)
