Thanks for this. I'm glad BB10 has support for Android apps but it sure is a pain having to rely on them isn't it? Native apps work and run and look so much better. I was able to get this installed but had trouble getting it to display content in the store. I rebooted and after a very sluggish opening, the store popped up and I was able to install some previously purchased apps. Great work!

This works perfect on my z10 STL100-3 running 10.2.1.3337 (AT&T) OS. Easy to install and get working if you follow OP instructions. 6 Stars!! Awesome smooth work. Nicely done.. No issues for me what so ever at this point. Just being able to delete edit your app list on Play alone is well worth the quick install.

    You rock Cobalt!

Thank you. This is amazing. Glad I stumbled on to this thread. It's working great on my Verizon Z30 10.2.1.2991.

The process is just connect your device, double click in the exe, and wait! No more, no less! 2015 is around the corner, maybe that can be your new years resolution, installing your first autoloader :P

Nope. But you can help by going to app permission options and turn off the "run when minimized" to help battery life.

I think some of the android apps/games are a bit rougher on the battery but I suppose that's the price for apps that weren't made for BlackBerry ,its the only issue I feel from this great process that they might not make the apps for BlackBerry if we all still use the droids

I'd be able to judge android appss' impact on battery with a bit more certainty only when I have an android phone of similar specs to compare with. But I don't. But yeah, some apps are a real battery killer, especially when playing games (e.g., with dead trigger 2, I only get like 3 hrs)

Thanks for the info. That sounds too easy. There are so many threads with so many different ways of updating the OS that to a non "techie" person like myself I'm not really sure how to proceed.

I made the mistake of not backing up my phone before the official Verizon 10.2.1 update, had a problem during the installation and lost everything and had to start from scratch. Still not sure what happened and Verizon even sent me a refurbished Z30 but after 5 days my original phone came back to life and I sent the replacement back. This is why I'm so hesitant to try loading an updated OS whether it's "official" or not.

Google Play Store downloads the required obb files together with the main apk file and puts them to the right place. Community Members have successfully downloaded apps with size greater than 2 GB.

Cobalt I have an issue.. I have successfully installed all 3 files to different mobile phones.. but theres one for my friend which even after downloading your updated google store.. it still downloads the app without the obb file.

Example is the frozen free fall app where it should be 96mb but it always downloads 13mb instead even after installing the updated google store.. can u tell mme what im doing wrong? As ive tried reinstalling everything from scratch but its still like that.

Does the app still install? Have you tried running the app once it's on your homescreen? I had that yesterday when I downloaded Rayman, once I opened it, it downloaded the entire file after that.

I just downloaded that game. The download size is 96 mb. The installation size is 13mb. The obb file is also downloaded and has 83 mb. You can find the obb in device/misc/android/Android/obb. So everything is ok regarding download and installation. The game simply doesn't run on Blackberry.

Download of previously pursached apps is supported? I bought some apps in other device with this account, and when i click in the app, it asks me to buy it again, and then shows "An error has ocurred". And the app is neither downloaded or showing as already pursached ((

I've read a few posts where people refer to apps requiring patching.

Is this something the average user like me need to do? What does patching accomplish?
