Has anybody installed Google Play Movies and having trouble watching movies? I rented The Interview and it just has an error when I try to play it. It says it is fully downloaded though. Also, I purchased another movie and does the same thing. I can play the trailers just fine, so not sure why this is happening? I did the troubleshooting steps recommended by Google play. Any advice??

As posted in a message before, I did not and never will touch the payment part in Play Store. This is to protect your money and my reputation.

I strongly recommend to update your device to 10.3 or better. I've been running the store for some time now and never had any issue. I'm on 10.3.908.

Please understand that the Android Runtime of 10.3 is miles away from 10.2.1 regarding app compatibility.

For example, Google Chrome doesn't work on 10.2.1 while it does on 10.3.

To fix it, I simply deleted the Play Store, then re-installed it (after I followed all of the instructions in your first post).

I never use that feature, but yes, it seems to work.

Another small problem I've came across is a conflict between the Play Stores notifications and Google Maps. I haven't patched mine or anything as I rarely use it.




If I patch it, will this problem still occur? It's not really that big a deal for me, asking as the notifications only appear when I'm using the app in the background, I don't really mind.

I had a problem logging in as well, until I realized I was still logged into SNAP. Log out of that and you should be golden. Can't have 2 "Android" devices running on 1 phone.
