Using passport and when I get to the step of entering I.D. The page has the password to fill in and not the user name above it. Any ideas? Tried uninstalling twice but same thing every time.

If that is the case, you tried to run the Google Login app. You can't login there. Follow instructions in post 1.

Unfortunately something is not right on my Q10 with 10.3.1.1154 OS. I successfully got the google play store to work twice but then suddenly with no reason it stop working. I just tried the new updated file with no success. When I try to open the store is just telling me (see the picture) I moved back to Snap. Hopefully soon a new updated file will come and will start working as well as snap. Thank you Cobalt for your efforts !

Did you remove any of the files after installation? All 3 files MUST remain on the device. This crash could indicate, that the Google Login app is missing.

Are you using the updated version with the 50MB + Games fix? If not, you should re-download the store from post 1.

Thanks Cobalt. Figured I got the old Google Play Store as i downloaded it from the link from the YouTube tutorial. Downloaded it again this time from this thread. It's fixed now. Not sure though if this game is just 500MB...

Hi Cobalt,
I must say, its definitely excellent work by you for all blackberry fans here.
Now for the future, if you can integrate Lucky patcher with the play store. This way the app downloaded from play store will go through lucky patcher scan and modify automatically if required and then it will go to blackberry apk installer.

I looked into dubsmash a while ago but could not fix it. The problem is not the method how you download it but rather in the dubsmash app itself.

Thank you for you're response. I did not remove any of the files. Twice I was able to open and use the app and first just stop working with no reason and second time I decided to download a app and asked me to add a credit or paypal acount. I added paypal and suddenly the app crashed and never been able to open again. Then I saw the new version you provided and installed that one but I was not able to open the app anymore .

Long time it seemed to be impossible to install a fully functional Google Play Store on a BlackBerry device. Those days are over. I proudly present the Google Play store, with all the bells and whistles (well not all, but almost all).

Features:

• Browse your favorite apps, games, movies, music or books
• Buy apps, books or music
• Download and install apps, also paid ones
• Get refund for paid apps

I had to rewrite potions of the downloader code in Google Play Store, as it uses features of Android DownloadManager that are not accessible to 3rd party developers. The downside of this is, that you can not download apps that have OBB files, but hey ho! -> fixed.

How to install

Step 1

• Install Google Login
• Install Blackberry Google ID
• Install Google Play Store

Step 2

• Run Google Play Store. Login app will be invoked and you will be asked enter your Gmail account and password
• Close the login app and close Play Store
• Run Blackberry Google ID and checkin with your Gmail account and password (WiFi must be on)

After that, you can run Google Play Store again, browse your app and press the install button to download. If it is a paid app, you can directly buy and then download it. You can even get a refund if you don't like the app (this only works if the app developer offers a refund).

Does this work on any device?
All testing was done on a Blackberry Q10 with OS 10.3.908. Community members have reported that it also works on OS 10.2.1.

You did not follow the setup procedure. Read the instructions carefully.

What happened to Google Play Store Downloader?
The Downloader app is no longer required, as Google Play store now can directly download from the store. If you want to continue to use the Downloader, you can use the SHARE button in Google Play Store to invoke a download in Play Store Downloader.

Are you logging my account data or stealing my money?
I believe that I have quite a reputation here on Crackberry and I don't want to lose it, so NO data is logged or transferred anywhere else than to the Google servers.

Is this legal?
I honestly don't know. Google won't care about that we can buy apps from Google Play. Blackberry may be kind of unhappy though.

Is this all for free?
Yes, it is! But please consider that I spent hundreds of hours to do the reverse engineering of all this stuff, patching it, rewriting code and doing the testing. So if you really appreciate my work, I would be happy if you donate a few bucks. But it's up to you.

Hmmm. Loaded everything up. Bought SlingPlayer this year. With SNAP it will install with no issue, with this app it says I have insufficient funds and wants me to apparently repurchase it. I downloaded again through SNAP and will see if the other parts allow the license part to work.

UPDATE: Even though I couldn't download SlingPlayer through the play store app, the other parts now allow the app to pass the license check. Thanks Cobalt!
