Not to undermine Cobalt's work, I do appreciate his effort and support to the BB community, thank you!

That said, can someone sumarize whats the benefit of this over snap?
Being able to read reviews, rate, and permissions details are nice features that come to mind too. That being said, Snap is still a boss app as well

You can get the OBB downloader of the other thread install it and it works fine with this version!

I observed this problem some time ago. I solved it this way:

    1. Remove the Google account from the device (settings option in BlackBerry ID, accounts)
    2. Run Google Music. It will ask to login and that account will be associated with Google Music.

The account will then also work with Google Play.

Thank you, OP for this. Couple of FYI (at least with my account).
    1. Downloading from Play-Store is very slow (even on WiFi)
    2. You still cannot use google services (or I cannot use or download google services)
Again, thank you for your hard work!
    1. Being able to view reviews, full screenshots, videos

    2. Being able to purchase from directly within the app. (plus, I'm not sure if it's just me, but lately I've had issues downloading paid apps from within snap)

    3. Easier to install apk's than sideload snap if you've never side loaded before.

Snap definitely has its place -- I quite enjoy it's native feel, and it shows updates for patched apps whereas play store doesn't.

Wow! Got a headache watching that Thanks for the information and Google store.. Did everything down to opening Google store app and I signed in with my existing Google account. I then clicked on blackberry Google Id generate password and I was done. Did not have to do anything else. Took a screen shot of the password. Don't know if I will ever need it but I now have it.

Did you activate the option in BlackBerry settings (app manager) to install apps from a foreign source?

You should reboot your phone. As it seems to be a service app it may still run in the background.

Hm... I think I'm going to roll back to the landing page method. This version is easier and less cluttered but I'm having a lot of difficulty downloading games. Let's use Godus as an example:

The apk without the additional data is around 47MBs (using the old method). After you install that and you run the game for the first time it will fetch the rest. Now, in this new version you cooked, the size is bumped to 131MB which probably means it's trying to download the whole thing in one go. For this game it will always fail at around 80MB and give you the 911 error. This game never made it past the splash screen (keeps saying it's not authorized by Google Play Services. Also happens on native Android devices) so I'm not too fussed about it, but it keeps failing even in smaller, OBB required games such as Angry Birds Epic. I'm really curious to know what's causing this mess.
