I've downloaded all 3 apks.

And only the BlackBerry android ID app is updated.
Prior to this I installed ALL the apks in previous thread about getting the Play Store working.

Q1: is the one updated is OK enough? Or I need to delete and reinstall-new all apks from this thread?
Q2: do I need to delete the playstore downloader? Coz when I install an app from current build playstore app, it still opens the playstore downloader.

I tried to just upgrade my current install of play store, and I got an "unable to install this app" error, which I haven't been able to get around since. I would recommend uninstalling your current version of play store, then installing the new version.

Of the other apk's the only one that has changed is blackberry google id. I'd upgrade to the newer version of that before installing the new play store.

And you can leave play store downloader installed and it won't adversely affect the new play store apk. In fact, you can still "share" to the play store downloader app if you want to download an apk to your device without necessarily installing it.

Well, he already sorta has . Check out his other threads for how to patch google play services in other apps. Keep in mind not every scenario is patchable (for example, g+ login is not supported), but there are plenty of applications (like ones that rely on play services for mapping services) that are easily patchable.

for those having the issue when trying to check-in and the app cashes. i tried while being on wifi and passed that.

Thanks, seems to be a bug in BlackBerry Google ID, as it tries to read from Wifi Manager to get the Mac address. Will fix that. Until that's done, turn on wifi to checkin.

Edit: turned the mobile network off and downloaded the 'play store' file over wifi and was able to install play store without problem. Now it's working fine. Thanks Cobalt.

Have you tried (recommended by @poppel)
1. Open BlackBerry Google ID icon then "obtain Google ID"
2. Filled with my mail address and password to obtain a valid ID for BB
3. Then reopened Google Play Store.

Otherwise you would need to be a bit more specific in your error
