I know 67 pages is a lot, but you have a problem you're trying to resolve, so read the first post, and try it out

I wasn't aware installing the play store helps to stop this pop-up notification? Intuitively I'd assume it makes it worse.

I get it from time to time and I've been told it's just something we'll have to accept :\

It doesn't. The pop-ups will show up now and then. It's a bit annoying but not debilitating.

I stopped getting those notifications after installing the Google play store and patching any app that gave me the notification.

I've done all that..and pop-up still pops up about once a day or so. No biggie. Everything works just fine.

Try ghost commander. That is what I use. You can turns notifications off for any app that is giving you this message. It is flawless and you won't be annoyed anymore. Download from Blackberry world.

It works. Basically if any google play services pop up in notifications go into ghost comander and turn notification off for that app.

The popup is an error popup and usually appear when the app use an part of Google Play Service that can't run on BlackBerry (eg. Google Play Games). It's not a notification and it's not possible to remove it (except removing Google Play Service :P).
