why buy a holster? rim usually provides one with the phone itself.
i'd go with one of the slip on pouches + a full body Zagg Invisible Shield.

Frankly, I hate having cases on my phones. They are too sexy to hide! I hate having them in a case . . . . though my phones look like they have been a chew toy rather quickly! Plus, I like the feel of the phone, as is.

My 9860 holster has the same red stitch...no indication of the mystery color.

My PlayBook is naked and that is the way I like it but in my work as a P&D truck driver I would like to have some protection. I could be switching to a truck in construction so I will be in dirty conditions. So I would like a case that offers a lot of protection from dust, dirt, drops and maybe a little water. It would be nice if its built tough enough to be removed on weekends if I wanted to go without when not at work.

I think your best bet for a genuinely tough case is going to be OtterBox. I'm sure they'll have a case on offer when the Z10 hits stores, and they have made one for the PlayBook for a while. I had an OtterBox on my 9780 and on my 9810, they both offered a whole lot of protection. But I've begun to go case-free with my 9810 lately, and the front piece broke after I took it off incorrectly once anyways.

I've always had a leather holster, but I may go for the black flip for this phone (maybe get both and rotate)

Could someone clarify how the flip shell case works. I know it has the energy saving magnet in the front cover and includes a clasp to hold the cover shut. Does the cover fold around the back without occluding the camera lens so I can use the phone one handed?

I purchased a clear shell and the wallet off of there, someone else did too and made a thread with some pictures of the product when it arrived.

Having nothing to do, and being too excited, I measured the case according to the leaked dimensions we had in the forums not long ago, and it seems correct.

It folds in the middle so that you can pop the device on the dock, hence the transform.
