    Hello,

I just got the BB Q10 and after doing some research I found out that its possible to load apps like Flipboard on my Q10 thru sideloading. So I added the Chrome extension for the Playbook manager and downloaded the .bar file for Flipboard from BB10bars.net and installed using the playbook manager.

Now when I click on the app on the phone it shows me a blue loading bar for 3-4 minutes and automatically closes. The app doesn't load completely. Did I miss a step? I am using Q10 on OS 10.1 on Verizon. Can you please help me solve this?

Would love to get viber on the phone too if possible?

    Thanks a lot !!

you don't have to side load it. It's already is BlackBerry World.

This is the thread. Download on you're PC the OS from the specific provided link for Q10. Then back up you're phone on BlackBerry Link. Then unzip the downloaded OS, keep you're phone connected to the PC and click on the unziped folder. You will see a black window on you're screen starting to upload the new OS on youre phone. The phone LED will show a green light. If you have a password set on you're phone you will need to enter it on that window and click enter on you're computer keyboard. The process is pretty fast, in less then 5 minutes you will have the new OS on you're phone. Once the OS iss installed you're phone will restart and you will have to go thru initial setup. After that I recomend wiping you're phone. That will help the new operating sistem to work much smoother without interferences from the old OS. The only inconvenience is that after wiping the phone you will have to do the initial setup again and reload everything you had on the phone before but people who don't wipe their phones are reporting problems with the operating system. When you will wipe the phone the process can take 30 minutes or more so don't freak out. Once the wipe is done the phone turns off so you will have to press the top button to turn it on.
