My experience: I followed the instructions of this video on YouTube:
"Install Google Play Store to the BlackBerry 10" by "howto-everything":

but didn't use the links there, instead of this, I took the apk-files from "GoogleServiceBB10":

    https://drive.google.com/folderview?...ive_web&ddrp=1

    First File:
    com.googl.android.gsf.login-4.3.3.-cobalt.apk
[is downloaded without showing a progress bar, wait a few minutes]

    Second File:
    cobalt.blackberry.googleid-2.7.apk
[progress bar is shown during download]

    Third File:
    3.com.android.vending-6.0.0-cobalt-build1.apk
[is downloaded without showing a progress bar, wait a few minutes; the ordinal number "3." belongs to the file name]

I hope this helps one person or two.

Finally I managed to install Google's Play Store-google-play-store-ppse-08-05-16_resize.jpg

I did. I tried it a (felt) thousand times, but the files in cobalt's cloud just didnít work. I'm sorry. I opened that link in the browser, downloaded the famous 4.3.3-file, tried to install it and that was it! After the download nothing went further. Today was my last day, so to speak. Now that it works I'm happy for today. Perhaps that 2.7-file can be updated easily?

Okay, Conite, update to BlackBerry Google ID 2.8 finished with new registration at the play store. That was easy. ;-)

What is the preferred method to load this in with no importance of GOOGLE SERVICES? In other words, if access is just wanted for apps and a person has no need at all for google services, notifications or whatever else.....what is the best way to load and maintain the store? thx

Maybe just make a shortcut to Google Play on your screen. Log in with your id/password and get your apps.

This information absolutely saved my sanity. I too found the YouTube tutorial, but the only problem was sideloadBB10 gave me this error Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/content/23/11541923/html/sideloadbb10/wp-includes/admin-bar.php on line 946

So I then found this post where I got the files, and finally got the Google Play Store installed on my Blackberry Q10! Yay! Thank you so much for posting. I'm thrilled and sane again.
