Messenger Lite 1.0 APK Download by Facebook - APKMirrorMessenger Lite is under 10MB, so it’s fast to install and quick to start up. I was just wondering about that lite version for passport. Just read about it today.

I did my testing on a Passport. Works great.
Not sure why, but the downloaded file shows it's not an apk file in my browser and download folder.
Have to add .apk extension to use it. Just FYI.

R.e. Post #4 you need to edit the end to .apk before you can install
Select file (press and hold)> properties>rename (add. Apk to the end)>confirm then should be able to install

I just used another apk site and I got it now working smoothly.

Does it automatically grab all your contacts? (It's something I don't want to happen.)
It doesn't seem too. If you check through Cobalt's Google ID app ( Android settings) it doesn't show permission to access Contacts.
I'm testing this app on a Q10, together with Facebook Lite, hopefully it can serve as somewhat of a replacement to the crippled native app, which has lost messenger functions.
