Just tried this for my son and we can't get the attack screen working. It's not responsive and it isn't optimized for the screen size. Maybe it's just me but I will keep trying. Even tried zoom in and out function and hide bar. Nothing yet. Will post updates.

Strange. One of the previous blog posts says it's fine. Can anyone verify more? Preferably players with well-built bases already?

Problem is you can't get past tutorial without attacking in campaign, which I is where mine and OP's screenshots are from.

No one has faced this yet except the 2 of us?

So it appears that Clash of Clans on Passport at least works if you're NOT a new player already? As the campaign map is buggy?

I've been playing since I got it. You just can't do campaign. Everything else runs wonderfully. Better than Total Conquest and that is supposed to be native!

I have a Q10 and I have this same problem. I suspect its caused because that screen can't do a square aspect aspect ratio. My hunch is the people its working for have Z10's or Z30's

I'm currently using a Z30 and CoC works like a charm ... only that I don't have Google+ so my base dies on the day I leave BB10

My advice for people that are starting coc if you didn't play past tutorial back up and restore your data to your Zxx play through then reopen coc on passport problem solved.

Is it only the attack map in the tutorial that doesn't work on a square screen? After that, everything works on a square screen?

Actually you can just contact tech support and they will provide you with a link to recover your village on another device.

I just did that and now I'm playing CoC on my Samsung Tablet and Z30

For Passport when coc is running swipe down and select zoom out. Then everything works, except Google Play of course.

That's not true, maybe you're talking out of theory?
In CoC it has no effect when you use the Zoom Out function (I'm talking out of experience here, it has the same issue)

Either BB needs to integrate a way to change/force the aspect ratio Android apps can run in, or there needs to be a tool to force an apk to take a new resolution.

It would fix the issue with Netflix too on any of the newer versions..

I am running 10.3.0.1418 and the zoom out option is there. It is the BlackBerry runtime that provides this option not coc specifically. Also makes apps like candy crush look a lot better on the Passport.

I'm not saying the function isn't there, it just doesn't do anything for some apps that weren't optimized for general devices:P

Like here on that same OS for me: (I am zoomed out)
