    Now that CBC did away with the native app, I thought I'd give the Android one a try.

    Am I missing something or is there no way to swipe between news stories?
    And the "Back" and "Menu" (Hamburger, whatever...) button is out of reach in the upper left corner.

    Please tell me I'm missing something - I'm having a hard time believing crappy design like this became so popular...

    Just installed it on my Q5 with Snap No swiping problems Works surprisingly well including audio and video clips.

    I don't see any "Size" button. Just the "Show Bar" button.

    I suspect it's just poor design.

    No, it didn't complain about Google Play Services.
