Hi all. I got a Facebook post from Casper that says there is a new update, and one comment from someone that says it doesn't work on BlackBerry, does anyone know where to get the update if it's no longer on the website, and has anyone else tried?

Try getting an older version from the APK sites at the bottom then updating. If you want the latest version give me a shout and I'll share it mega. Works fine on my passport.

Thanks for the reply. After thinking about it I had the app before getting threatening emails from SC. So I looked deep into downloads folder and found old file, updating now..
Question is... should we (I) create a new account and don't log into a real android SC (witch I have done) or just go ahead and log in with current account? I've read once that is how SC is finding us so quickly by logging into a Droid SC.

I was banned yesterday for using Casper. I'd recommend against it if you want to avoid the same.

Have you tried just changing your password? Works for me every time. Not sure how long they will keep letting me do that for but to be honest I'm not bothered if they permanently lock me.

I know not to use the absolutely latest version of Casper after I've done it - 1.1.0.1 is the safest version from the information I've gathered.

You need to go to the Snapchat website to change your password. I think you're better off using the latest version of casper, each update is built using the same api version as the allowed official version so less chance of getting busted.

Unfortunately Snapchat legal team has stopped Liams website but you can still download an old version from various apk sites and update it via the app or here is the latest version from my mega account.

This is awesome, I'm so glad I found this app! I was really scratching my head trying to figure out how to get some form of Snapchat working and this really beats a bunch of workarounds. I just loaded the latest version on my Q10 and everything seems to be good so far. It's not perfect (yet) but it's something!

There's actually just been another update to casper which seems to be mainly for windows and x86 phones as well as crash fixes.

So it's looking more and more like our Venice will feature Android and (hopefully) the full Google Play store. Even if it does I'll carry on using Casper just to p*ss Snapchat off

I've tried resetting my password a couple of times now but there seems to be something wrong with their website. I keep getting an "SSL connection error" message on Chrome and Internet Explorer doesn't seem to want to play either. Any suggestions?

1.3.1 is the latest version. To find out if you're running it or have the latest download the version linked earlier then check for updates via the app itself.

Thanks for letting me know, I appreciate it. I'm trying to install Casper onto my new Passport but I keep getting the error message depicted in the screenshot attached. I've tried following the instructions on the website suggested from that dialogue box but nothing really seems to work. I've been trying it for a day with this message appearing.

I noticed a few people with that issue on Liam Facebook page. Sorry I can't help with that one, I've never signed out since installing or tried any official Snapchat apps so it just works for me.
