I got the email today as well. Nonetheless, Casper is still working fine. I will continue to use it until Snapchat makes a native BlackBerry version.

Had the same issue although casper is still working the fine, the dev believes he will soon resolve this issue

Seems Snapchat has met their match. Maybe this will force Snapchat into making a native app for BlackBerry, or at least stop preventing BlackBerry users from using their Android app.

After receiving the email, Casper may be on life support. I'm done with 3rd party apps. Snapchat will someday find its way to the BlackBerry World, and if not I'll be okay.

The new update he just pushed should fix your issues as far as I'm aware. It was to do with Google credentials returning an invalid token this has now being resolved.

I got the email but Casper appears to work. Can't see how this would be possible. Are the snaps not loaded up to Snapchat servers?
You would have thought Snapchat would win unless Casper as the ability to tell snapchat servers what to do even if they delete your account.

Apparently they don't really do anything when you get "permanently banned" all you have to do is unlock on the website hehe

Yeah I seen that on Liams Facebook page. I haven't even had to unlock yet, it's still working. That could change if I log out though.

Also says on his facebook page that the latest server calls are installed so you shouldn't be getting busted.....Yet

Bit weird. When you're locked you still seem to be able to get stories but can't send or receive chats.
Is the permanent ban thing confirmed as definite? I have only been locked out twice and allowed back in with a password change but while I was looking for the site to unlock my account where I came across plenty of people who appear to have been permanently locked out.

It would appear from a post 8hours ago there has been an issue with the official SC app as well as Casper and people have been getting signed out.
There is nothing the Dev can do at this point. I would recommend people using and interested in Casper to follow the Devs Facebook page. It's kept up to date with all developments present and proposed. Well supported app that should be applauded in the face of adversity and SC being *** holes.

Glad to see its back though. Apparently the next update, 1.04 I believe should have the updated API to prevent people being busted....for now anyway.
Would it just be simpler if SC worked through the browser. Especially if they can't be arsed making a windows or BlackBerry version.
