So I'm not gonna lie, I was kinda kicking myself in the tush for the first two hours after I downloaded Casper and said my farewells to Snap10. I think I'm only really missing the dark theme we had as an option and just how smooth Snap10 ran. But after using Casper for a bit now, I can say I'm satisfied with it. Over time I expect it to get better with each update as the developer actually listens to us (big kudos)! ... And considering that we don't get banned from using it. So far, so good! I'm glad I can actually snap videos now.

I'm unsure on how to record videos? Whenever I press the video icons, nothing happens?

Finally got casper working on bb10 it's ok not like snap2chat or snap10 but trust me does the job brill

Actually its better than snap10 lol there are tons of features that snap10 doesn't have and once he adds the chat feature, it's a wrap...

Casper has so many extra features compared to snapchat that some companies use it to advertise. I highly suggest upgrading as the developer listens and pushes updates regularly.

How do you use the video recorder via Casper through the stock bb10 camera and the Casper camera?

When I click camera top right only get option to take pic with stock camera and the Casper camera it don't even let me take pic says can't connect.

for me a black box appears at the bottom with no text, no video recording.
