Please update your profile to include device, carrier, and location. This makes it easier for others to help you.

As long as you have OS 10.2.1 you can download Android apps directly to your BB10 device. You can download the apk file via an Android store or the Browser.
Most work, with the exception of Google apps, apps dependent on Google services, or larger games. (There are workarounds for some of those too.)

Now I am able to use android apps in my blackberry, but battery backup is very poor, please advise for any tool / or setting to encrease the battery life

If you just updated you os it needs a couple of days to index and settle in. I recommend a charger.
