Has anyone been able to get the most current patched file working proper yet. Also I c the link for patch Apk is down.

I have not tried patching 2.0.36.4 from April 10th, 2015 if this is what you are referring to. It looks like I might have to do it by May 7th, 2015 though.

I installed the march 2015 APk on my passport however, whenever I try to lock or unlock the august lock the app crashes. I have the august connect and it works perfectly using the connect. I'm running 10.3.1.1865

Is there anyway to fix this

I have the same problem with the March 2015 APK, which is why I went back to the Feb 2015 one.

I do not have a connect yet, but thanks for testing it with that! I know now that I can purchase one and have it work.

Smart app lock is a very different application than the one we're referring to in this thread... Which is august smart lock. I'm not sure you'll get much help in this thread.

Just patched and tried the April 2015 version, same as the Mar 2015. It crashes as soon as you try to open the door.

My Feb 2015 is back to its old habits as well, taking forever to authenticate but at least it works!

So looks like our fun is over for the time being.

Just got the following message "Upgrade Required - The version of the August Smart Lock App is out of date. Please download the latest version."

I found a temp workaround, put your phone in airplane mode and leave the Bluetooth on. It will connect and still open/close.

So I just talked to someone at August, I told them I had an unsupported phone, however they recommend that I send them the logs from the app to the engineering team so that they can find out what is different between the Feb version that works and the March/April versions that do not work.

No reply yet from August, but they did release a May 7th app update. I have not tried it yet. How is everyone else making out?

On another note. I updated my passport to 10.3.2.440 and the Bluetooth seems to be better now. Will report back after using it for some time. I am still using the old app from Feb and have to turn my cell signal off everytime I want to open my august app.

I just got a firmware update for my actual lock (Not app related) and installed it. Wow what a difference, it connects within 5seconds, even on my old Feb 2015 app! I don't even need to turn off my network connection for it to work. I imagine at sometime soon that app version v1.0.4.1 (Feb 2015) version will stop working, but for now I think I am going to keep it.

Oh, if you want to check your firmware version, go to the little circle gear button above your red or green circle on the lock screen. (Might not work for some versions) but the latest firmware version is 1.0.75-1.1.18.
