Tried to look for the BlackBerry blend apk to install on my fire tablet and couldn't find it anywhere on the forums. I can Google it, but it gives me a bunch of random websites that I don't know can be fully trusted.

I am not sure that Blend will work even if you find an apk file but you can try. For some reason Blend stopped working on my Android tablets a while ago. Not sure if it was an Android update or something else. Others reported the same issue.
Just trying it again after leaving it alone for a year or so. It seems lost in space "Loading devices..." and never gets further. Been about five minutes and still "loading..."
Blend does still work on my Win7 desktop and win10 laptops although some features come up short. It does not display quoted replies or pictures in BBM.
The same thing happens on my iPad. I can login but it never connects. I was hoping that the android version was better.
It still works on my mac without a hitch.
Could you point me in the right direction of an apk to try?

I'm not aware of any specific sites but apkmirror (I think that's the site) has apk files. Interesting that the Mac works but that the ipad does not. Aren't they more or less running the same underlying OS? I don't know Apple stuff. But I have a feeling that it won't work for android either.
