So I finally have the passport
Playing around with it on wifi setting didn't even transfer my phone to it
I installed Aptoid so I can get instagram
Everything was going fine
Until I started favoriting things on insta
It keeps on kicking me out and back to main screen
VERU frustrated!

The android app isn't perfect. Different updates to the app bring or solve bugs.
Try iGrann from the BlackBerry App World for a BB10 native experience.

Ya it will give you a decent instagram viewing experience. However, support has been scant seemingly. Not ability to video record for a while now and the app degrades the quality of a photo when you attempt to upload.

Also lacking is direct instagram functionality.

Another annoyance is that if tagged in an instagram upload, you need to manually find in the comments where you were tagged and what was said. It does not automatically load your tags place in the comments.

Having just loaded 10.3.1.1154 onto my passport, the android version of instagram finally works (without crashing). I would say that's the better option if it's attainable.

Android version of Instagram is the best way to go.
If you pay for iGrann Pro you'll be very disappointed.

well instead of that I tried sachesi for the first time and did the blitz non-destructive update to 10.3.1.1154 and it solved the instagram problem...and many others!

i've never uploaded a video but I can share/post photos to instagram via the o.s. and they look better than the low-res pictures igrann is currently producing...and without random crashes.
