I had been sideloading apps using the debug token method on 10.1. I just was able to download 10.2.0.1047 to my phone and started to add back my android apps that I had sideloaded. Found out (as many threads can attest to) that that debug token no longer works and cannot install it that way. So I made myself a new debug token and installed it using the chrome extension. However, I had certain apps that will only work being installed using the android pack software in the debug method, I did not keep the original .bars that it created when I did it the first time and when I use the converter it errors and says the debug token is invalid when I try to sideload them on chrome. The specific app I am trying to install is Voxer 1.2.1.0001. I tried taking the apk and converting it online and sideloading that way, but it errors at the sign in screen, whereas it worked very well sideloaded using the debug token method.

Is there any sort of work around for this on 10.2.0.1047? If so I had not seen anyone spell it out in any other thread.

You've done that on 10.2.0.1047? I tried redownloading and creating a new debug token from scratch

You have to convert the apk with the ConvertAndroidApp file, and having the debug token bar file in the same folder

I have had no issues using debug token method. All I did After I update to 1047, was renew token and thats it.

Ok, that may work, as my current debug token .bar is not in that folder. Thank you

I wish, that was the first thing I tried, as my token hadn't expired yet.

Yep, moved my current debug token bar and it works normal again. Thanks!

So basically you can load the debug token using the chrome extension and then everything works as normal.

a debug token is a developers tool to allow unsigned apps to run on the phone. It also is a way of making a lot of android apps that don't work the regular sideload method to work. If you look at te stickies in the sideloading forum here, you can find ou more about it.

I've got it working using your method - thank you! But, I can't get it to read anything by my SIM Card address book which is blank. Any idea how to get it to read my contact address book?
