I also had the network issue error, and I'd been online connected to my 60MB home connection... so is it actually their network?

I just tried again more than 24hrs from my 1st attempt but still get told to check my network connections. Pretty dumb, as if I wasn't able to access the Internet I wouldn't be able to OPEN BlackBerry World on my Q10 in the first place!

I was also concerned about the only 3 reviews I saw (from January) all said that the downloaded file wouldn't install properly. Does anyone know what's going on?

Check the date on those reviews--they are from 2014 and have NO bearing on the new android runtime that we are trying to get now.

Ok, I missed date but as the only reviews in a just updated download it didn't occur to me to look at the date closely, especially since I still haven't been able to get it to respond or download.

On another thread someone posted they have been in contact with a BlackBerry rep via Twitter and they are working on it. It is pointless to keep repeating posts about getting a network error and just wait for an announcement or a new article on crackberry stating it's fixed. Nothing is going to happen over the weekend either.

Out of curiosity, which thread? Other than seeing others mentioning the fact that this seemed to be system wide, yours is the 1st posting that shows BlackBerry even knowing the issue exists. I for one appreciate your telling us, since I'd never find out otherwise. Never been interested in social media. I suppose I miss out on the rare useful info like this one but I've never felt the lack of "important" things that make up the vast majority of media. ;-) I only posted originally to see if others were having the same inability to download the update.

Post #129 plus others have mentioned it well. This thread is not where the main discussions are taking place. Also Bla1ze posted an article which has many comments in it reporting ad nauseam all the same over and over again reports of network errors.

Sorry about the famous movie line quote from Cool Hand Luke, but that really is a reflection on ME not you or any other person that I am replying to. Maybe I should remove it lol, but you are the first person to be offended by it. I realize that many people may not be movie buffs, but rest assured that it was not meant to be rude towards you. Just use the 2813 Runtime posted all over the place. This new BBW update will not provide anything further - it only helps people who are unwilling or unable to sideload.
