I was able to patch the latest version 1.2.7 and it ran without any problem. My net connection is extremely slow, so uploading the patched one is a PITA. Anyway, to get it running on your device, simple download a patched Google Play services and install it. also download the Gmaps patcher v2.7.3 from the following thread and patch it yourself How to fix any Android app dependent on Google Maps API and make maps working

EDIT: make sure to set Decompile Resources option to 'NO' in the tool, before patching it.

I did it in the following way, and it worked!

Uninstalled current google services to have a clean start and...

1. Install patched Google Login Services-573038.apk - don't open it
2. Install patched Google Play Services-4.1.32 (978161-36).apk - don't open it
3. Install com.android.vending-4.5.10.apk (Google Play Store) - don't open it
4. Download latest Google Maps with Snap
5. Open Google Maps - try to login with your google account - exit maps - REBOOT DEVICE
6. Install Timely-v1.2.7.apk patched with apktool and TRY it - it should work without notification
