doesn't look like anyone who l=saw this thread has tried Yik Yak. have you had any luck? what can you tell us?
I saw this post when it first showed up and tried yik yak off snap. It didn't work so I didn't respond.

actually the app works but for some reason it can't get my location even though the permission has been granted.

What Gatmyer just said, this has always been the issue since the release of the android runtime.
This is the one android application that I have wanted to use but the GPS does not work.

Yes....with the newer version of yak...You are able to save a peek as your personal peek. When yak says you are too close to a school, you can still access your saved peek. That is as good as it gets.

Not seeing the same result. I'm on the latest leak and just downloaded the latest version of yik yak. Location services error still exists, and when you bypass it, you get a series of random yaks. Setting a saved peak causes yik yak to crash.

That happened to me.... I chose Ohio State University...no luck then the next day it started to work.... I'm running the approved version of the latest AT&T update on my Z10.
