I may have discovered at least one reason why battery drain is an issue for some running this OS version. I discovered that the device monitor actually now shows some Android apps like Skype, Ebay, and Facebook are running headless in the background. This may be causing a fair bit of battery drain for some who, like me, have these apps on their devices. On the upside though, you can close the apps in device monitor too, and once that is done, it seems to kill the headless feature, until the device is restarted, and then you have to go and close them again. Anyway, this might solve some problems. Cheers!

unfortunately, it doesn't kill them till next restart. they open again shortly thereafter. It is a losing battle with some of them. Just face it, they are going to keep running on your device. That's the way android apps run.....

I've found for the only one that reopens on mine is the Facebook Lite app, but that's only after I actually manually open the app. Otherwise, it stays closed. I've also got notifications turned off on the app, because I already get notifications from the native BlackBerry Facebook app, and don't need duplicate notifications.
