Can I side load apk files on my BlackBerry z10 os 10.2.1.537...I tried once,but the android apps are very laggy and unable to use...please help on this..

No need to sideload if you on 10.2.1 it's a direct install now but will need a Google Play client like snap or Amazon app store, to find and directly download apps. Search the forum as this is a common thing here

Perhaps you could specify which particular apps us laggy. Cant be "all" coz there are some which is quite fast

What device are you using? Some are laggy if you're using q10 because android apps have full screen while q10 have a small screen. But on my z30 I don't experience the lag.

Same here Tj, no lag, but i dont think a small screen will matter. I believe its the download itself. not all downloads will work right out of the box, so keep that in mind. Do not give up there is another app tha can do the same thing out there

most of apks you can get it from 1moble.com, or Amazon but if you want apk from Google play you need to sideload the SNAP using Chrome extension called PlaybookBB10 manager from chrome store.
and Apks run normally except that it take a bit time to launch, but once launched there is no lag

Yes just sideload this and you will get a second app market on your device

As long as it's 10.2.1 the rest of the OS version don't matter. Just learn the sideloading process on youtube and you golden. And yes you can download any app from Snap but not all is guaranteed to work

Make sure BB Link is installed, working and can detect your unit. Once that is working you continue on the rest of the steps. You will know its working becuase BB Link will ask for your security password when you connect your phone

Yes, it's necessary to install BlackBerry Link in order for your device to be recognized by your PC. Remember, if your PC can't recognize your device, you can't sideload. In other words, your PC requires the drivers that come with BB Link in order to recognize your device when connected to it.
