I installed amazon app store app on my z30, i go to install netflix or any free app and the status bar says "purchasing" then a window comes up saying "there was an error purchasing Netflix. Please click here to add an address to your account (this will open your browser) and try again.
Has anyone experienced this?

You must have an Amazon shopping account set up for Amazon Appstore to work properly. It keeps track of your apps like purchases, even the free ones.

Are you logged in with your Amazon.com account?

just add your email, make an account and go. if you had an amazon account, it will find it. Otherwise, make one and you're good to go.

EDIT actually after rereading the OP I see I was a little off base with my answer below, but I am going to leave it up just in case someone else has the problem I am talking about.

Yes, just finished fixing this for my wife. She has three amazon accounts, one from US, one from Canada and one from UK (ships to family all over the place). Amazon had her registered in the UK because that was the last place she shipped from, but due to geoidentification the phone was identifying with Canada. So the App store was confused.

If you log into Amazon website using a computer and go to Help there is a link to migrating your account to your current country. After doing that your account and your phone should be on the same page. Just to be safe, you can download the app you want while on the computer. Then when you go into the Amazon App Store on your phone, dive into the menu system and you can see My Apps, under that you should be able to choose cloud and your app should be ready to install.

This is what I'm getting as well. I have an amazon account. I can't figure out what to do next. When I go to the browser it already has my shipping address but no "follow through" button... no way to continue the process after that. I figured it was just checking to validate who I am. I go back to the app and...nothing.

I hit "click here" and that's when it opens the browser and does what I mention in the earlier post. In my case, as I said I already have an account and my shipping address is valid...but still no go

I tried it again and it worked. Weird but now im able to use Amazon.

If you click on the link (not the OK), it will ask for your email address and check for your account If you have one, you go on, if not, you make one and then it works. The OK is big and the link small, so it gets lost in the sauce, as they say.

From what I know that to be able to download apps like Netflix (USA Area) You need to have an address in usa plus the visa or mastercard also usa. In that way they will be sure that u r in usa (to be able to download it).
This what happened with me.
If u r in usa, u don't have any issue, but if u r not u have because even if u download it (let say you find the .Apk file and install it on your bb10, it will not work because u r not in usa.
