The usb chargers are the same. Atleast from the 72xx's to the 83xx's that I can verify.
I recommend the OEM BlackBerry cradle charger, very nice...

Jumpers cables and paperclip.....kidding. Seriuosly though, as long as it is for blackberry it will be fine. Motorola usb charger will work also..im too cheap to buy a new one.
My only prob with motorolla chargers is the razor has the same charging port as the bb but the cord is at a 45 degree angle upward and when you are talking on it, it is on a nasty bend.
I just went to radioshack and got an igo.
I now use it for my gps,BB,work phone and radar detector. Just switch ends.

someone correct me if i'm wrong but i believe the curve 8900 uses micro usb, but since you have a pearl, the average USB charger should work on it
although i notice when i plug it into a motorola charger, the battery doesn't last as long, but hey, that could just be me :D
So will my wall chargers and my car chargers for my RAZR V3xx work with my Pearl 8110? That would be awesome not to have to buy a new car charger AND to have extra wall chargers for travel, work, etc.!

I can confirm that with the bold the motorola charge gives about 50 percent of the blackberry charge in terms of charge life. Definatly not the same.

USB cords that connect to the PC and charge are all pretty much the same, BUT the ones that plug in to electric sockets can vary, some supply too much charge some not enough (I don't know all the technical details). Using OEM chargers is MUCH better for the longtime life of your BB. :)
EDIT: As RSR pointed out there is a difference between micro USB (8900, 95XX), and mini USB (older BBs), HOWEVER there are adapters you can get to change the end from one kind to the other.
