The one I had on it snapped together, however, I had to keep removing it to remove the battery to clear the message icon and the case broke.

I use an Otter Box but that is overkill for most people. FYI you can reset your device by holding down Alt, Rt Shift and Delete at the same time. This should eliminate you having to worry about breaking your case doing battery pulls.

Cases, well, that would be someone who uses them, I use a good silicone skin and a heavy duty pouch for mine.

I also use a thick silicone skin and a leather pouch.

The skin is the Technocell tire tread skin case from Verizon. I saw it at a T-Mo store also. It is about 2x thicker than an average silicone skin case. It made finding a leather pouch difficult because it added so much thickness to my BB.
