i'm trying to decide whether or not to get a case for my blackberry tour. is it worth it? if so, what are some good ones? i'm not really a fan of the silicone ones, however. thank you

i feel as if an otterbox would add a lot of bulk to my phone which is something i'd like to escape. I'm living in boston, so i would just use it around the city. i was thinking maybe a hard case?

I went on ebay and got two crystal cases. One with no screen protector and the other with the hard screen protector.

I wish Speck had put one out, but they are slacking with the Tour.

I found something similar to the cases above ^^ same thing different design. I LOVE MINE! Here is the post I had made regarding them......

Ok, so after ordering about 5 or 6 different types of cases I finally found one that fits the bill. This case is actually a silicone/plastic mix and after feels like it will protect the phone more then the OEM silicone cases, but it is still a soft case feel. It is a perfect fit as well. ANYWAY, below are some ebay links for them, and there are other designs available on the last seller's store.

those are nice... similar to iSkin. I was waiting til they came up with one for the Tour but finally decided I was taking a chance by going nekkid and ordered phantonSkinz cause I can't stand the extra bulk or slightest weight added in my hand.

You should check out some of the seller's other auctions....they have some other cases that don't have the designs on them. These cases look exactly like something I would be interested in and I will more than likely pick up a couple at that price.....

Looks to me like those cases (skins) cover up the battery contacts on the back of the unit; therefore you won't be able to use the drop-in desk charger.

Has anyone come across a crystal case that covers the screen as well as the body of the phone? The ones I've looked at on Ebay and the Crackberry store are nice but don't cover the screen. The Tour's screen is a bit less durable than the Pearl I used to have. I'm worried that if I don't keep it protected, it will have scratches and possibly get damaged if I keep it naked. Thanks

I ordered the Lux Premium Cases from Amazon.com.
I'll give feedback once I get them. I think someone had them or has ones that look like them. Look pretty nice than the OEM ones.

I love mine. It doesn't stick to my hair while I'm on the phone, which is a plus and not to mention no more annoying "dust bunnys"! My husband saw my case and decided that he wanted one for his storm and we were able to get one that didn't have those designs on the back. Definetly more durable!
